Philippe Pernot

Philippe Pernot is the Vice-President responsible for project evaluation and information systems at Business Angels des Grandes Ecoles, an investment network based in Paris, France. Elected to the organization's executive board in July 2020, he oversees the assessment of startup funding applications and manages monthly project presentations for early-stage companies seeking institutional capital. Under his leadership, the angel investor syndicate, which draws from alumni of French engineering and management schools, participated in 29 funding rounds totaling €4.5 million throughout 2023. Since its inception in 2005, the group has financed 229 startups with over €51 million in direct investments, generating more than €130 million in total capital through subsequent leverage effects. Pernot currently focuses on identifying and evaluating high-growth innovative ventures within the technology and services sectors across the European startup ecosystem to support emerging founders.
