Philippe Hayat

Philippe Hayat is a French entrepreneur and investor currently serving as a Managing Partner at Serena Capital. He co-founded the venture capital firm in 2008, raising an initial €100 million fund to focus on early-stage investments in technology, internet, and B2B services. Prior to this role, he managed a high-tech portfolio at Société Générale Asset Management from 2003 to 2007 after selling his incubator, Kangaroo Village, to the institution in 2002. A graduate of École Polytechnique and ESSEC, he previously founded multiple companies including Architel and Les Bâches de France, and later led entrepreneurship tracks at Sciences Po. Additionally, he established the non-profit association 100,000 Entrepreneurs, an initiative which has connected business leaders with over 600,000 young students. His current focus centers on scaling innovative enterprises and fostering early-stage technological development across the broader European market.
