Philippe Gire

Philippe Gire is a Partner and Co-founder at Elaia Partners SAS, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Paris, France. Since establishing the firm in 2002 alongside co-founder Xavier Lazarus, Gire has helped grow its assets under management to over $335 million. The firm manages the €75 million PSL Innovation Fund on behalf of Université PSL, backed by limited partners such as KPN Ventures and BNP Paribas. Before his venture capital career, he spent two decades at Accenture starting in 1980, where he launched the Corporate Venture fund and became Managing Partner overseeing more than 3,000 employees. In 2000, he joined Valeo as President of Valeo Ventures and Vice President of Strategy. Holding a degree from Polytechnique, his current investment focus centers on digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and SaaS applications across European technology markets.
