Philippe Collombel

Philippe Collombel is the Managing Partner at Partech Ventures, operating out of Paris, France. He initially joined the venture capital firm in 2001 and subsequently co-led its strategic reboot alongside Jean-Marc in 2008, transitioning the entity from its early origins as Paribas Technologies into a global investment platform. Under his executive leadership, the firm recently announced the first close of its eighth Venture Fund at €180 million, aiming for a final target of €360 million. Collombel has personally directed at least ten individual investments while overseeing a broader multi-stage strategy that includes the Growth Impact Fund, Partech Entrepreneur IV, and Partech Africa II. Drawing on his extensive background as a former entrepreneur and operator, his current investment focus centers on scaling European software companies across the deep tech, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and financial technology sectors.
