Philippe Bouaziz

Philippe Bouaziz is the Founding Managing Partner and Chairman of Sarona Ventures, operating primarily out of offices in Paris and Tel Aviv. He concurrently serves as the Chairman and Chief Financial Officer at Deel, and previously co-founded the financial advisory firm Bouaziz & Partners. Through the $25 million Sarona Ventures fund, which originated from his family office, he targets pre-seed and seed investments ranging from $100,000 up to $5 million. His investment portfolio features enterprise applications, SaaS, and fintech startups, including Verbit, Agora, and Donde, which was successfully acquired by Shopify. Recently, he led a $5 million seed round for FirstWork and launched the Sarona TechShield Reverse Fund in 2024 to back emerging technology companies. Bouaziz maintains a strategic focus on scaling early-stage software and financial technology ventures across the European, Israeli, and North American markets.
