Philipp Wahler

Philipp Wahler currently serves as the Houlden Fellow in the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Group at Warwick Business School, an academic department within the University of Warwick. Before assuming his current research fellowship at the institution, he completed his undergraduate education by earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland. In his capacity as a research fellow, Wahler investigates the broader economics of science, specifically analyzing the complex mechanisms behind how technical knowledge disseminates among academics and researchers. He conducts detailed empirical evaluations of scholarly works by leveraging a combination of traditional econometric methods and modern analytical tools, including Python programming, Stata software, and specialized eye-tracking technology. Wahler maintains a primary academic focus on the intersection of innovation, entrepreneurship, and the science of science through rigorous quantitative research.
