Philipp von dem Knesebeck

Philipp von dem Knesebeck is a General Partner at Vinthera, a hybrid venture capital fund, and is currently based in Munich, Germany. He holds academic degrees in Economics and Finance, initially spending nearly a decade working as a leveraged finance banking professional across financial markets in London and Hong Kong. Transitioning to the venture capital sector in 2011, he began his institutional investing career at K5 Family Office before co-founding Blue Future Partners in 2015. During his tenure as Chief Investment Officer at Blue Future Partners, he allocated capital to over 50 venture capital funds across three fund of funds vintages, spanning more than 15 startup hubs across Europe, Israel, and the Asia-Pacific. Today, his professional focus centers on identifying emerging managers, investing in United States-based venture funds, and executing direct co-investments alongside his portfolio partners.
