Philipp Lennertz

Philipp Lennertz is the Managing Partner of Lennertz & Co., a multifamily office and private markets investment firm based in Hamburg, Germany. He established the organization in 2015 alongside co-founder Oliver Piworus to provide specialized private equity and venture capital fund of funds strategies for sovereign wealth funds and institutional investors. Under his leadership, the firm currently manages 14 private equity funds with a staff of 35 employees, having expanded its operational scale through a February 2020 merger with BPE Fund Investors. Lennertz oversees a dedicated 13-person private markets investment team, working closely with key executives such as Managing Partner Hans König and Head of European Venture Ivan Dyachok. His current focus centers on directing capital into buyout, early-stage, and pre-IPO opportunities across European and United States markets, including strategic allocations toward digital assets and blockchain technology.
