Phil Loughlin

Phil Loughlin is a Boston-based Managing Director at Bain Capital Private Equity, where he currently serves as the Global Head of the Financial and Business Services vertical and acts as a member of the Consumer vertical. He originally joined the global investment firm in 1996 and has subsequently accumulated over 25 years of dedicated professional experience in private equity investing. Prior to his extensive tenure at Bain Capital, Loughlin worked as a strategic management consultant at Bain & Company and held corporate operating roles at Eagle Snacks, Inc. and Norton Company. He earned an MBA as a Baker Scholar from Harvard Business School and graduated cum laude with an AB degree from Dartmouth College. His current investment focus centers on identifying and partnering with founder-led businesses operating across the consumer, financial services, and retail sectors.
