PhD Christine E. Boyle

Dr. Christine E. Boyle is a Partner at Burnt Island Ventures based in Seattle, Washington. Before joining the $50 million water technology venture capital fund in May 2023, she founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of Valor Water Analytics, leading the startup until its acquisition by Xylem in 2018. Following the acquisition, Boyle spent five years as Vice President of Digital Product Development at Xylem, overseeing business incubation and commercialization strategies. She currently holds board positions at Waterly, Previsico, Subeca, and Aclarity, and serves as an advisory member for the water innovation accelerator Imagine H2O. Holding a doctorate and master's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University, Boyle focuses her current venture capital investments on digital water solutions and deep tech industrial applications.
