Petteri Koponen is a Founding Partner at Lifeline Ventures and Chairman of Varjo, based in Helsinki, Finland. A serial entrepreneur who has established five companies, he previously served as the CEO of First Hop from 1997 to 2007 before co-founding the mobile social network Jaiku. Following Jaiku's acquisition by Google in 2007, Koponen spent two years at the technology giant directing product management and new business development. He has held prominent governance positions across the European technology ecosystem, including serving as Chairman of Supercell and acting as a board member for Elisa. At Lifeline Ventures, which recently closed a €150 million fifth fund, he manages a portfolio that includes hardware developers like Oura. His current focus centers on deploying €100,000 to €2 million in early-stage capital across the software, deep tech, and health tech sectors.
