Petra Meyer

Petra Meyer is a Managing Director and Co-lead of life science investments at Golden Seeds in New York City. In this capacity, she oversees capital allocation for a $181 million AUM angel network that has funded 251 early-stage, women-led companies. Prior to her investment career, Meyer spent over 25 years in general management and marketing leadership across the healthcare and consumer packaged goods sectors. Her corporate tenure includes serving as Regional Managing Director for Europe at Walgreens Boots Alliance subsidiary Alphega Pharmacy Group, where she managed a $3 billion profit and loss portfolio. She also operated as the inaugural Chief Marketing Officer for Merck Group's global Consumer Healthcare Division and held marketing positions at Unilever. Meyer currently focuses on advising founders and corporate boards on capital formation, intellectual property protection, and global market expansion strategies.
