Peter Van Vlasselaer, PhD

Peter Van Vlasselaer, PhD, is a Venture Partner at SR One and a Partner at ND Capital based in Woodside, California. He holds a PhD in immunology and a degree in zoology from the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium and completed his postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University Medical School. Prior to joining ND Capital in 2019, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of several biopharmaceutical startups that culminated in major acquisitions, including ARMO Biosciences, which was acquired by Eli Lilly in 2018 following its initial public offering. His previous executive tenures also include leading iPierian, ARRESTO, and AVIDIA to their respective acquisitions by BMS, Gilead, and Amgen. Currently a board member for RGENIX and board chair for Amphivena, he focuses his professional efforts on advising and investing in early-stage life sciences companies developing novel immunological therapeutics.
