Peter Soerensen

Peter Soerensen is a Partner at CVX Ventures based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, where he focuses on sourcing and supporting early-stage deep tech startups across Europe. Before joining the firm in early 2024, he served as Managing Partner at Speedup Ventures, leading investments in more than 50 startups, and held earlier roles at the Rockstart Accelerator. Over his career, Soerensen has executed over 70 investments as a lead or co-lead investor, contributing to notable exits including the digital banking unicorn N26. At CVX Ventures, which manages over €100 million in assets across more than 20 portfolio companies, he recently led a March 2025 investment in the AI-driven climate startup ClimaTech. Holding an MSc in Business Administration from the Rotterdam School of Management, his current investment focus centers on scaling European innovation within artificial intelligence, climate technology, and enterprise software.
