Peter Riehl

Peter Riehl is a Partner on the Public Equity team at Bain Capital, operating as a senior investment professional within the financial sector. Since joining the global investment firm in 1997, he has focused on executing public equity investments, corporate finance strategies, and broader capital markets initiatives. Prior to his current long-term tenure at Bain Capital, he worked directly on the corporate bond trading desk at Lehman Brothers, gaining foundational expertise in fixed income markets and institutional trading operations. Earlier in his professional career, he served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy before earning an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA in Economics and History from the University of Michigan. Today, his primary focus remains on managing public equity portfolios and utilizing his extensive background in corporate finance.
