Peter Pezaris

Peter Pezaris is the Chief Executive Officer of Vortex Software, where he leads corporate strategy and operations. Prior to his current role, he served as Chief Strategy and Design Officer at New Relic following the company's 2022 acquisition of CodeStream, a developer productivity startup he founded and led as CEO. A serial entrepreneur, Pezaris previously founded and served as CEO of Glip, a team communication platform acquired by RingCentral in 2015, and Multiply.com, a social networking site purchased by Naspers in 2010. He began his entrepreneurial career by founding Commissioner.com, a fantasy sports platform acquired by CBS in 1999, after earning dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University. His professional background is focused on building and scaling enterprise collaboration tools, developer productivity software, and real-time messaging platforms.
