Peter Oriaifo

Peter Oriaifo is a Principal at Oui Capital, a pan-African early-stage venture capital firm headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria. Before transitioning to the African startup ecosystem, he worked in the United States as an investment banker specializing in financial institutions and FinTech mergers and acquisitions. During his corporate finance tenure, he notably advised on the historic first sale of an American commercial bank to a financial technology company. Oriaifo initially joined Oui Capital in 2019 and returned to the firm as a Principal in 2022 after earning his Master of Business Administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. He currently manages pre-seed and seed-stage investments from the firm's four million dollar first fund and its thirty million dollar target second fund, focusing his efforts on the FinTech, digital commerce, and enterprise software sectors.
