Peter Niederhauser

Peter Niederhauser is a Partner at Redalpine Venture Partners based in Zurich, Switzerland, where he leads early-stage technology investments across Europe. Before transitioning to venture capital over a decade ago, he worked as a technology entrepreneur and operator, having earned a computer science degree from ETH Zurich. Since joining Redalpine's investment committee in 2023, he has managed an active portfolio of more than 20 companies, including Flyability and TSC Automation, while overseeing notable exits such as the 2022 acquisition of Nymbl Science. In 2025, he directed the firm's investment into the expansion of the AI-driven climate startup Climeworks and recently co-authored a comprehensive 2024 report analyzing European deep tech market trends. His current venture capital strategy focuses on funding and scaling disruptive innovations within the deep tech, climate tech, SaaS, and financial technology sectors.
