Peter Longo

Peter Longo is the Senior Managing Director of Investments at Connecticut Innovations, based in Connecticut. With nearly 30 years of venture capital experience, he specializes in evaluating, structuring, and managing early and growth-stage investments across the technology, healthcare, and financial services sectors. His investment track record includes more than 11 notable portfolio exits, such as the initial public offering of Achillion Pharmaceuticals and the acquisitions of Cardium Health by Centene and SilverSky by BAE Systems. Longo currently serves as a board member or observer for 11 active portfolio companies, including Covr Financial Technologies, Device42, and DiA Imaging Analysis. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut, an MBA from the University of Hartford, and maintains both CPA and CFA designations.
