Peter Livingston

Peter Livingston is the Founder and General Partner of Unpopular Ventures, an early-stage investment syndicate and rolling fund. Since establishing the venture firm in 2019, he has directed more than $30 million in capital across over 160 technology startups globally. Operating primarily at the seed and Series A stages, Livingston writes check sizes ranging from $25,000 to $1 million and occasionally leads early funding rounds for emerging businesses. His active venture portfolio features prominent technology companies such as Copy.ai, Belvo, Jeeves, Airlift, and Almanac. Prior to institutionalizing his primary investment vehicle, he spent over seven years as an independent angel investor, entrepreneur, and mentor, personally backing more than 300 individual startups. Livingston currently focuses on identifying overlooked global investment opportunities across diverse technology sectors, including artificial intelligence, financial technology, enterprise software, robotics, and climate sustainability.
