Peter Hebert

Peter Hébert is a Co-Founder and Partner at Lux Capital, a venture capital firm managing up to $4 billion in assets. He began his career in equity research at Lehman Brothers before leading the 2003 spin-off of Lux Research, where he served as the founding Chief Executive Officer and built it into a prominent emerging technology research firm. In 2021, he expanded his financial footprint by co-founding Thematic, a developer of next-generation indexes and exchange-traded funds. At Lux Capital, his investment portfolio spans deep technology and healthcare startups, including companies such as Carbon Health, Saildrone, and Bright Machines. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Syracuse University, where he established its first venture organization. Hébert currently focuses on backing scientifically ambitious founders developing unprecedented technologies across the healthcare and deep tech sectors.
