Peter Findley

Peter Findley is the General Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Anchorless Bangladesh, an early-stage venture capital firm based in New York. He began his finance career in 2001 at a Deutsche Bank hedge fund before transitioning to quantitative investing at DE Shaw and running the USD Swap Trading Desk at Credit Suisse. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Economic-Philosophy from Columbia University, he later served as a Lead Portfolio Manager at BlackRock overseeing a multi-billion dollar portfolio utilizing machine learning across emerging and developed markets. Transitioning to venture capital, Findley has successfully directed funds into South Asian startups, notably leading a $600,000 seed round for the Pakistani logistics platform Trukkr. His current investment focus centers on applying quantitative techniques to identify scalable, high-impact artificial intelligence and fintech opportunities within emerging frontier markets.
