Peter Ekunkoya

Peter Ekunkoya is the Co-Founder of Vendy, a financial technology and payments company based in Nigeria. In his current position, he directs strategic growth, process improvement, and operations scaling for the startup, which currently employs approximately 20 professionals and participated in a Winter 2022 technology startup accelerator cohort. Prior to entering the technology sector, Ekunkoya accumulated 20 years of professional experience managing finance, strategy, and commercial sales operations at large multinational consumer goods corporations. His corporate tenure includes various senior leadership positions at recognizable industry giants such as Procter and Gamble and Coca-Cola, providing him with extensive geographic market exposure across both Africa and Latin America. Today, Ekunkoya leverages his extensive corporate background in the consumer packaged goods industry to drive execution, guide strategic direction, and scale payment operations within the emerging African fintech sector.
