Peter Donnelly

Peter Donnelly is the Managing Director of the Accelerate New York Seed Fund, based in the Long Island area of New York. In this role, he oversees a $6 million investment vehicle focused on early-stage science and engineering innovations originating from regional research institutions. Previously, Donnelly served as Associate Vice President for Technology Partnerships at Stony Brook University and Deputy Director of Technology Development at Argonne National Laboratory. His corporate and entrepreneurial experience includes leading Accenture’s Greater China innovation consulting practice in Shanghai, holding advisory roles at The Boston Consulting Group, and successfully selling a venture-backed biotechnology startup as its Chief Executive Officer. He holds an MBA and a Master of Science in Biotechnology from The Johns Hopkins University. Donnelly maintains a primary focus on early-stage technology commercialization, bridging the gap between academic research and venture-backed enterprise.
