Peter Barth

Peter Barth is a technology executive and investor based in Greenville, South Carolina, currently serving as the Managing Partner at Iron Yard Ventures. He previously founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of The Iron Yard, launching the organization in 2012 and scaling it into one of the largest coding bootcamps in the United States with more than 15 physical campus locations. Under his leadership, the company secured a strategic investment from the Apollo Education Group in 2015 to further expand its technical training programs. Through Iron Yard Ventures, Barth has directed early-stage capital into more than 60 technology startups, operating an accelerator program that was a member of the Global Accelerator Network. His career focuses on expanding technology education, building regional startup ecosystems, and providing seed-stage venture capital to emerging software and digital health companies.
