Petar Matejic

Petar Matejic is the founder and Chief Technology Officer of Vista Power, an energy technology startup developing modular energy storage systems for large commercial facilities. Prior to founding the company, he held advanced engineering roles at several prominent aerospace and infrastructure organizations, including NASA, SpaceX, Firefly Aerospace, and The Boring Company. At Vista Power, Matejic leads the technical development of the Voltaris system, a proprietary hardware solution designed to reduce commercial energy costs by up to 30 percent while providing critical blackout resilience for data centers, hospitals, and factories. Additionally, he co-founded Vista Space to engineer advanced structural batteries for satellites and recently participated in the Y Combinator Winter 2024 accelerator cohort. His current professional focus centers on bridging advanced space-grade engineering principles with terrestrial energy challenges to build more reliable and cost-effective power infrastructure.
