Per Baltsen

Per Baltsen is a Venture Partner at CVX Ventures based in Copenhagen, Denmark. In this current role, he leverages an extensive network of over 600 business angels to support a growing portfolio of more than 76 early-stage and growth-stage companies. The firm analyzes over 1,100 startups annually and manages a capital pool of DKK 800 million available for investment across diverse sectors including biotechnology, financial technology, and software. Prior to joining the venture capital firm, Baltsen served as the Chief Executive Officer of TAXA 4x35 until his departure in 2022 and held various corporate leadership positions at Pankas A/S, Coromatic A/S, and Unify. His professional background spans more than 23 years of operational and executive experience, with a primary focus on driving investments and strategic growth within the medical technology, life sciences, and healthcare sectors.
