Pejman Nozad

Pejman Nozad is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Pear VC, a seed-stage venture capital firm based in Menlo Park, California. The firm manages over $800 million in assets and has backed early-stage technology companies holding a collective valuation exceeding $50 billion. His investment portfolio includes prominent consumer and enterprise startups such as DoorDash, Dropbox, Gusto, and Guardant Health. Before establishing Pear VC, he co-founded the investment firm Amidzad Partners in 1999 following an unconventional early career working as a rug salesman at the Medallion Rug Gallery in Palo Alto. He has been recognized on the Forbes Midas List for six consecutive years and ranked first on the Forbes Midas Seed List from 2023 to 2025. Nozad currently focuses on identifying and supporting pre-seed and seed-stage founders across generalist and deep-tech sectors.
