Pei-fu Hsieh

Pei-fu Hsieh is the Co-Founder and CEO of Karbon Card and is currently based in Singapore. Founded in 2019, Karbon Card provides corporate credit cards to Indian startups and participated in the YC S21 batch. Previously, he spent over a decade in private equity and venture capital, serving as a General Partner at 01VC from 2016 to 2019 and a Vice President at Kleiner Perkins from 2006 to 2010. His operational background includes incubating close to ten fintech companies and scaling ventures for Rocket Internet, such as Easy Taxi and Zalora, alongside early career experience at McKinsey. He holds an MBA from UC Berkeley Haas and earned his CFA certification in 2008. Hsieh leverages his extensive background in venture capital and company building to focus on scaling early-stage fintech solutions across Asian markets.
