Pavel Berengoltz

Pavel Berengoltz is the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of Fireblocks, an enterprise blockchain security platform. Since co-founding the company in 2018, he has helped scale its digital asset infrastructure to an $8 billion valuation following a $179 million funding round and unicorn status in July 2021. Prior to Fireblocks, Berengoltz served as Director of Mobile Solutions at Check Point Software Technologies, which he joined after its 2015 acquisition of Lacoon Mobile Security, where he was Director of Research. His earlier career includes serving as Vice President of R&D at Wave Systems' Safend subsidiary and as Chief Technology Officer of Safend following his service in the elite Israel 8200 Intelligence unit. His current focus centers on developing secure digital asset custody, transfer, and decentralized finance solutions utilizing multi-party computation cryptography for global financial institutions.
