Pauline Murphy

Pauline Murphy is the Senior Managing Director of Investments at Connecticut Innovations, a strategic venture capital organization based in New Haven, Connecticut. Since joining the firm in 2002, she has directed seed to Series B funding rounds, deploying capital through initial check sizes ranging from $150,000 to $7 million. Murphy helps oversee several state-backed investment initiatives, including the Connecticut Bioscience Innovation Fund, the ClimateTech Fund, and the recently established $50 million Future Fund. In addition to her primary investment responsibilities, she actively serves as a board member for regional portfolio companies such as the biotechnology startup LambdaVision. She also dedicates resources to fostering female founders and guiding portfolio companies toward successful exits. Her current focus centers on financing early-stage and growth companies across diverse technology sectors, specifically targeting biotechnology, artificial intelligence, quantum computing, software, and climate technology.
