Paul Shin

Paul Shin is the current CEO and Co-Founder of F4, a technology startup focused on hardware innovation and advanced manufacturing solutions. Previously, he worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer within the Tesla Drive Unit division, where he directly managed the global drive unit heat exchanger program that produced over three million hardware units annually. During his tenure at Tesla, Shin also owned the mechanical engineering and high-volume production of six specific hardware parts for the CyberCab and SEMI commercial vehicle platforms. Before entering the commercial automotive manufacturing sector, he pioneered experimental liquid-bipropellant rocketry propulsion initiatives during his academic engineering studies at both the University of Alabama and the University of California, Berkeley. Today, his professional focus remains centered on bridging the gap between complex hardware engineering, scalable automotive production, and next-generation advanced manufacturing technologies.
