Paul Mascarenas

Paul Mascarenas is a Venture Partner at Fontinalis Partners and a corporate board director based in Detroit, Michigan. Prior to his venture capital career, he spent over 32 years at Ford Motor Company, ultimately serving as Chief Technical Officer and Vice President of Research and Advanced Engineering. During his tenure, he established Ford’s Silicon Valley Research Center and directed global product development for major vehicle lines including the F-Series, Mustang, and Explorer. He currently serves on the boards of ON Semiconductor, US Steel, and The Shyft Group, following previous directorships at BorgWarner and Mentor Graphics. Awarded an Order of the British Empire in 2015 for services to the automotive industry, he is also a former president of SAE International. His current focus centers on early-stage venture investing and advising companies within the next-generation mobility and automotive technology sectors.
