Paul Madera

Paul Madera is a cofounder and General Partner at Meritech Capital Partners, a $3 billion late stage venture capital firm based in Palo Alto, California. Before this, he served as Managing Director and Head of Private Equity at Montgomery Securities and worked as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley. He previously served as a United States Air Force pilot flying F4 and F16 aircraft across South Korea, Spain, and Utah, holding a BS from the United States Air Force Academy alongside an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. As a frequent Forbes Midas List investor, he has led investments in numerous technology companies, including exits such as Yammer, MuleSoft, and ForgeRock. Madera currently focuses on late stage investments across the enterprise software, fintech, and digital consumer sectors while holding board seats at Filevine and Icertis.
