Paul LaViolette

Paul LaViolette is the Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer at SV Health Investors and Co-Chairman of Pulse Biosciences, based in the United States. Prior to joining the venture capital firm as a partner in 2009, he spent 15 years in executive leadership at Boston Scientific Corporation, serving as Chief Operating Officer and Group President of Cardiovascular. During his tenure at Boston Scientific, LaViolette helped grow corporate revenue by more than 20 times and oversaw the integration of 24 corporate acquisitions. His 35-year healthcare career also includes 14 years in commercial leadership roles at CR Bard, alongside current board director positions at Edwards Lifesciences and Mass General Brigham. LaViolette currently focuses on life sciences growth equity and medical device investments through the Medtech Convergence Fund, leveraging his operational expertise to scale early-stage healthcare technology companies.
