Paul Kwan

Paul Kwan is a Managing Director at General Catalyst and the co-founder of Valinor, based in San Francisco, USA. Prior to his current roles, he spent 22 years at Morgan Stanley's Menlo Park office, where he led the West Coast team and managed the global internet and software business. Beyond his corporate tenure, Kwan has served as an adjunct lecturer at Stanford University and previously taught courses on technology IPOs and mergers and acquisitions at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business. At General Catalyst, he leads the Global Resilience team, directing capital into defense, intelligence, industrial, and energy sectors. His venture capital investment portfolio includes prominent technology and defense companies such as Anduril, Samsara, Helsing, and Charm Industrial. Kwan currently focuses on advising and scaling mission-driven, software-enabled companies operating within critical national and global infrastructure sectors.
