Paul Klemm

Paul Klemm is a General Partner at Earlybird Venture Capital based in Munich, Germany, where he co-leads the firm's enterprise software vertical. Since joining the firm in 2017, he has executed early-stage technology investments ranging from initial $100,000 checks to $5 million across seed to Series B funding rounds. Klemm currently holds active board seats at several scaling European technology companies, including portfolio startups Isar Aerospace, Aiven, and HiveMQ. Prior to beginning his venture capital career at Earlybird, he worked as an investment analyst at Monkfish Equity, the investment vehicle of the trivago founders, and within an HSBC family office. He holds a Master of Science in Management from the HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management. Klemm's current investment focus centers on scaling enterprise software infrastructure, climate technology, real estate technology, and space innovation.
