Paul Kennedy

Paul Kennedy is a Partner on the Credit team at Bain Capital Credit, where he serves as a member of the Private Credit group responsible for investments across Australia and New Zealand. Since joining the firm in 2018, he has focused on originating and managing private credit investments within the regional corporate finance and asset management sectors. Prior to his current role, Kennedy worked as a Division Director in the Corporate and Asset Finance division at Macquarie Group and served as an Associate Director at CHAMP Private Equity. Earlier in his career, he worked in the Investment Banking Group at Credit Suisse, building on an academic foundation that includes an MBA from INSEAD and dual bachelor's degrees from The University of Adelaide. Today, his primary focus remains on structuring private credit transactions and deploying capital throughout the Australasian market.
