Paul Holliman is the Managing Partner at Unpopular Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in San Francisco, California. Before assuming his current role in 2023, he served as a General Partner at Uncork Capital from 2013 to 2022, where he directed early investments in more than 50 technology startups. His historical venture capital portfolio features over 60 total investments, including Gusto and notable exits such as General Motors' $1 billion acquisition of Cruise. A former technology entrepreneur and a graduate of Stanford University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems Engineering, Holliman recently led a seed investment in the artificial intelligence platform Replicate in February 2024. He currently focuses his primary investment strategy on backing pre-seed and seed-stage founders across the software as a service, artificial intelligence, financial technology, and consumer internet sectors.
