Paul Grunow

Paul Grunow is a Venture Partner at eCapital Entrepreneurial Partners based in Berlin, Germany. He holds a doctorate in natural sciences from the Berlin University of Technology and began his career working as a scientific employee at COPPE/UFRJ in Rio de Janeiro. Transitioning into the commercial photovoltaics sector as a serial entrepreneur, Grunow co-founded Solon AG, where he served as Production Manager, and subsequently co-founded the prominent solar cell manufacturer Q.Cells. He later acted as the primary cornerstone investor for the eCapital III Cleantech fund, which successfully closed with £44 million in capital. Additionally, he serves as a technology advisor and board member at the Photovoltaik-Institut Berlin AG and acts as a curator for the Reiner-Lemoine Foundation. His current professional focus remains centered on scaling early-stage cleantech and renewable energy technology ventures across the broader European market.
