Paul Goodrich

Paul Goodrich is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Madrona Venture Group, based in Seattle, Washington. Prior to co-founding the venture firm in 1995, he served as a partner at the law firm Perkins Coie and was a general partner in the Chicago-based Environmental Venture Fund established in 1987. Throughout his venture capital career, he has directed early-stage investments across enterprise software and developer tools, backing portfolio companies such as Eventbase and Z2. Goodrich was an early investor and served as the board chair for Redfin for over a decade, ultimately stepping down following the company's initial public offering in 2017. Outside of corporate governance, he holds civic leadership roles with the Seattle Opera and Friends of Waterfront Seattle. His current professional focus remains on guiding early-stage technology startups toward long-term market success.
