Paul English

Paul English is a Co-founder and Board Member of Hopper, a global AI-powered travel booking platform, based in Boston, Massachusetts. He previously co-founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of Kayak from 2004 to 2012, leading the travel search engine until its $1.8 billion acquisition by Priceline in 2013. As an active angel investor, English has backed over 100 early-stage tech startups across software, developer tools, and financial technology, with notable portfolio exits including PillPack. He studied computer science at Cornell University and currently serves on the corporate board of directors for Tripadvisor. In January 2025, he launched the English Family Foundation to provide strategic grants for early-stage startups focused on mental health awareness.
