Paul Clark

Paul Clark is the Managing Director and co-founder of VentureSouth, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Greenville, South Carolina. In this capacity, he evaluates regional investment opportunities across the southeastern United States and serves as the General Partner for six distinct VentureSouth Angel Funds. Previously, Clark worked as a Principal at BC Partners, a global private equity firm managing over $17 billion in assets, where he deployed more than $1 billion across the healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, and education sectors. His earlier career includes serving as Senior Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions at CertusBank and specializing in healthcare advisory and capital raising at NM Rothschild & Sons in London. Today, Clark leverages his extensive background in large-cap institutional investing to drive early-stage venture capital and angel investment strategies throughout the southeastern region.
