Paul Chau

Paul Chau is a Partner at WI Harper Group, a well-established cross-border venture capital firm, based in San Francisco, California. Before joining his current firm, he spent over 20 years developing his expertise in technology and finance through various investment roles, including a notable tenure at Walden International. He holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the University of Canterbury. Throughout his extensive career, Chau has served on the board of directors for more than 10 early-stage technology startups, guiding them through critical scaling operations and subsequent acquisition or public offering phases. His current focus remains on identifying and supporting high-growth technology enterprises that bridge the innovation ecosystems between North American and Asia-Pacific markets.
