Patrick Polak

Patrick Polak is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of Newion Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. In this capacity, he oversees the firm's investment strategy, fundraising initiatives, and investor relations while targeting B2B software as a service companies across the Benelux, Nordics, Germany, and Austria. Before establishing Newion, Polak co-founded and subsequently sold an independent software company, and he also served as a venture capital investor at NV NOM. He currently holds several board positions to support portfolio companies, including serving as a board member for the identity management SaaS platform iWelcome. Additionally, he acts as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Vlerick Business School and sits on the advisory board of Invest Europe. Polak leverages his dual experience as a software founder and institutional investor to scale early-stage European enterprise technology startups and software ventures.
