Patrick Okain

Patrick O'Kain is currently a General Partner at Borderless Capital, a Web3 investment firm managing a portfolio of over 250 blockchain infrastructure and protocol investments. Before joining Borderless Capital, he co-founded and served as a General Partner at RW3 Ventures, where he directed capital into early-stage decentralized finance and Web3 applications. He previously co-led the dedicated cryptocurrency practice at KPMG, establishing industry standards for blockchain adoption and publishing foundational research on decentralized exchanges and automated market makers. Earlier in his career, O'Kain served as a Special Agent with the U.S. Department of Justice directing complex cryptocurrency investigations, and he holds an MBA from Columbia Business School. Drawing on over 18 years of combined professional experience across national security and venture capital, his current focus centers on scaling blockchain infrastructure and navigating cryptocurrency regulatory compliance.
