Patrick McDougall

Patrick McDougall is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Drip, a fintech payment solutions company based in São Paulo, Brazil. Founded in 2021 and backed by Y Combinator's Summer 2022 batch, Drip bridges Pix and credit card systems to facilitate installment payments within Brazil's $50 billion annual e-commerce market. Before launching this venture, he led new business initiatives at Nubank, where he directed corporate strategies related to instant payments, e-commerce integration, and open banking. His earlier professional background includes roles in strategy consulting at Bain & Company, private equity investments at Vinci Partners, and fintech operations at Guiabolso. He holds a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. McDougall currently focuses on scaling alternative credit and buy-now-pay-later infrastructure to capture a larger share of the Brazilian digital payments sector.
