Patrick Hannigan

Patrick Hannigan is the Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder of Hive.co, an event marketing software platform based in Kitchener, Canada. He established the enterprise in 2014 alongside a fellow student from a computer lab while completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Waterloo. Following the company's participation in the Y Combinator Summer 2014 cohort, Hannigan directed the technical architecture required to scale the platform to serve a customer base of more than 1,500 clients throughout North America. In his executive capacity, he currently manages the product roadmap and oversees a 65-person remote-first engineering team while maintaining critical software integrations with over 25 major partners, including Ticketmaster and Shopify. Hannigan's ongoing professional focus centers on advancing the technical infrastructure that powers personalized email, SMS, and digital advertising campaigns for large-scale events, entertainment venues, and consumer brands.
