Patrick Backhouse

Patrick Backhouse is a Partner at Greenoaks Capital based in San Francisco, California. In his current role, he leads venture capital investments across the fintech, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, robotics, and enterprise software sectors, deploying check sizes ranging from $1 million to $50 million in pre-seed through Series B funding rounds. His investment portfolio includes prominent technology companies such as Sea, Kavak, Toast, Tipalti, and Misfits Market. Additionally, he recently co-led a $300 million Series D investment round in the cloud security platform Wiz.
