Patricia Wexler

Patricia Wexler is the Founder and Managing Partner of Avila VC, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Golden Beach, Miami, United States. Before launching Avila VC, she co-founded Starlight Ventures in 2017, where she raised a $50 million fund, and previously served as a partner at Elevation Partners, a $1.9 billion private equity fund. Her earlier career includes strategic and operational roles at The Walt Disney Company, Boston Consulting Group, and CEMEX, following her graduation as a Baker Scholar with an MBA from Harvard Business School. Throughout her career as an investor, Wexler has backed more than 40 companies, including notable hardware and software investments in Commonwealth Fusion Systems, Realta Fusion, and Emrgy. Her current investment focus centers on early-stage hard technology startups that are rebuilding foundational industries, energy systems, and global manufacturing infrastructure.
